Clouds

Hi Friends,

The calendar says that spring arrived well over two weeks ago, but for much of the nation, it feels like it hasn't. Surroundings still look pretty bleak as flowers struggle to break through the soil. Oh, the birds are here chirping away like they always do in early April, oblivious to the cold, wind, and rain while they search for building materials to construct their homes in which to raise their soon-to-be families. Old man winter, though, just does not want to give up, or is it give in. Our forecast for the upcoming weekend is rain again, while next week is going to be colder than normal. How I hate to hear that. The birds may be cheerful, but all this cold, wind, and rain is getting to me.

I had planned to post some sunset photos, but since we haven't had an actual sunset in a few days, I changed my mind and decided to show you these photos of clouds instead. They are old, but they are still interesting -- kind of like a lot of people I know.

The first three photos were taken on June 24, 1997. The clouds seemingly just appeared in the sky, and in no time they were gone, the sky returning to it's regular self.

The fourth photo was taken on November 26, 2002. Can you see the face in the clouds? (lower center)
He seems to be laughing at us.

The last photo is from September 4, 2004. This strange cloud formation was the result of our regional nuclear power plant.
Makes you wonder.
